Minneapolis boutique cassette label Moon Glyph has just released their first non- cassette, vinyl compilation Regoligh Vol. 1. The collection opens with the surf-rock swing of Leisure Birds and the gentle strumming of Magic Castles "Patron Saint". While the majority of Regolith Vol. 1 showcases "pysche/art noise" there's the "chillwave" of Velvet Davenport featuring Ariel Pink & Gary War with "Surfer Girl". The scrappy pop of Vampire Hands -"3d Yin -Yang". Minneapolis torch bearers Daughters of the Sun contribute the tribal glow of "Mystical Babe", Skoal Kodiak's "Tinsel Tongue" makes a mess of things and the heralded Moonstone closes the record out with a space jam "Exhortations of the Prophet M.".
